Ever wish you could hit "pause" on your monthly loan payments? With our Skip-a-Payment program, you can. Skip-a-Payment is a great option for when things don't go as planned or you need some extra cash during the month.

To qualify for Skip-a-Payment:

  • Requests must be received 7 days before payment date
  • Loan must have at least 12 months of payment history
  • You have not had more than one other skip within the calendar year
  • All United loans must be current at the time the offer is requested
  • You must have full coverage insurance on your vehicle loan
  • Must be for an installment loan. Credit cards, home equity and mortgage loans do not qualify for Skip-a-Payment.

Qualified Skip-a-Payment will allow most members to skip loan payments for up to 30 days. If you have made a payment on your loan today, you must wait 24 hours to apply for a Skip-a-Payment for your next loan payment period. If your payment is automatically scheduled from another bank or credit union, don't forget to reschedule the payment.
